Graham Momer

Chef

Graham is a true local, having been born in Kelowna and having attended Culinary school at Okanagan College. Graham was fortunate to have apprenticed with Mark Filatow at Waterfront Wines, starting in 2008 and has been with Waterfront ever since. Graham recognizes and seeks out the world-class ingredients available locally in the Okanagan. He appreciates international influences and ingredients, also, having travelled extensively in Europe, and Italy in particular. Graham was the lead Chef of Waterfront’s catering division before assuming the Chef role at Waterfront Café. Graham was part of the Waterfront team, along with Mark Filatow, at two Gold Medal Plate competitions.

Lonni Van Diest

General Manager

Lonni grew up working at his family-owned restaurants in the Columbia Valley. He has twenty-five years of restaurant experience, most recently at Moxie’s where he held the roles of GM and Regional Manager. Lonni is well-known in Kelowna and has been active in the community where he has held director positions at both the Okanagan Sun Football Team and Sandman Harvest Foundation. Lonni loves great food, wine, cocktails and coffee and recognizes and supports locally-inspired and produced ingredients. This is what inspired him to join the Waterfront Café team.
